Swiss banks have a reputation for being discreet, serious, and solid as a rock. But many of them have also been hit by the credit crisis. Zürich-based UBS, the European bank with the biggest losses from the credit crisis, may report a 5th straight quarterly writedown. The Swiss are worried that their banks are losing their good name.
