Germans and the Euro

2010 of course will be remembered as a troubled year for the common European currency. Some even say it´s suffered irreparable damage. Not the Germans though: they remain confident.

Germany is working with its eurozone partners to shore up their common currency. The country has profited from the euro - and Germans are sticking by it, even as ballooning deficits in other eurozone nations threaten to undermine its stability.
