On the occasion of the Reno Windsurf World Cup on the German island of Sylt, we examine the continued popularity of the sport. In Germany alone there are about two million active windsurfers. The event at Sylt is one of the biggest windsurfing competitions in the world. We meet Bernd Flessner who is Germany's most successful windsurfer with four World Cup and 15 German Championships titles.
