Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, says he made the world a safer place, and that he has no regrets in supporting the 2003 invasion of Iraq and the removal of its former leader Saddam Houssein. During his testimony before an official inquiry on the Iraq War, he denied misleading parliament, and said he was convinced Baghdad had weapons of mass destruction. Blair's appearance before the inquiry attracted protests from critics who claim he is a war criminal, a charge Blair disclaims.
