First speaches - Russia and China admonish the world at this year's World Economic Forum in Davos

The avalanche of bad economic news is dominating this year's World Economic Forum. More than 40 heads of state are attending this year's event, compared with 27 last year. Together with business leaders, they will be trying to find ways out of the worsening economic turmoil.
