International election observers say yesterday's presidential vote in Ukraine was "transparent and honest." This is likely to raise pressure on Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko to concede the run-off. With almost all the votes counted, her rival, Viktor Yanukovic, has a narrow lead of less than three percent. His party is allied with the Kremlin's United Russia.
