"The Secret Gardens of Rolandswerth" are open until October 20, 2013 - a treasure trove of outdoor artworks that incorporate elements of nature. The gardens belong to the Hans Arp Museum south of Bonn, which also holds workshops for children.

Around 1,000 tons of trash flows down the Rhine River and is dumped into the ocean every year. Armed with garbage bags and sturdy gloves, volunteers in 58 cities along the famous river decided to do something about it.
