Ukrainian nuclear power plant workers are training for emergencies that have become routine due to Russian attacks on the energy grid.

At the Khmelnytskyi plant in western Ukraine, engineers must rapidly adjust output or switch to backup systems to prevent blackouts or reactor risks.

While nuclear sites are not directly targeted, missiles have come dangerously close. With nuclear energy supplying up to 70% of electricity, staff face growing technical and psychological strain.
