Mass protests as Russia-style law revived in Georgia

Thousands of people have been protesting in Georgia as the government seeks to push through a controversial new law. Opponents say it resembles measures used to repress dissent in Russia. They fear that if passed, the law could prevent Georgia joining the European Union. Another draft of the law was withdrawn last year after mass protests.
