Netanyahu says he wants direct talks with Beirut after Israeli strikes killed more than 300 people in Lebanon, putting Donald Trump’s U.S.–Iran ceasefire effort at risk. Meanwhile, as Pakistan prepares for U.S.–Iran talks, Iran is still blocking the Strait of Hormuz, severely disrupting global energy supplies, with Israel’s attacks on Lebanon seen as a major obstacle.
