The Fürst Pückler Park in Bad Muskau is some 60 kilometers away from Görlitz. It straddles both Germany and Poland, making it one of the few bi-national UNESCO World Heritage sites in the world.

Kamil Piechowiak is a filmmaker from Poland who watches Check-in. He accompanied a friend who drove through Mongolia, Russia and Tajikistan in an old Fiat 126.
Along the Saale and Unstrut rivers the Middle Ages have truly left their mark: castles, monasteries, churches and vineyards. At its heart is Naumburg Cathedral. The region is applying for UNESCO World Heritage status.
