Senegal shifts to solar

In 2016 Senegal became a solar energy producing country. It's part of the country's plan to cut its greenhouse gas emissions and to provide electricity to the bulk of the population which isn’t connected to the grid. But one women’s collective has beat the government to it: by bringing small solar lamps to isolated communities.
