Ghanaian soccer fans praise Germany

When the FIFA World Cup started in Brazil, Ghana was in the same group as Germany - and the only team to hold Germany to a draw. Many Ghanaian fans now see Germany as a source of inspiration.

The German team did not lose a single game on their way to victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. But one team did spoil their otherwise perfect balance sheet. The Ghanaian Black Stars held the Germans to a 2-2 draw in their group stage encounter. Soon after, the Ghanaians were packing their bags and heading for home where, as Isaac Kaledzi reports, many fans regard Germany as a worthy champion and a source of inspiration for the future.
