Germany spends an annual 10 billion euros on arts and culture - that's about 123 euros per capita. The only other European country to spend more is France.
Amid an ongoing dispute with Berlin, Bavaria's government is due to finalize its proposal for Germany's refugee policy. As well as a yearly cap on refugee arrivals, Premier Horst Seehofer is calling for tighter borders.
Gamers are voters, too. At least the ones over 18. Now shortly before a general election, top policymakers in Germany have discovered the digital gaming community and are sitting up and taking notice.
