Dortmund's Marco Reus (L) and midfielder Nuri Sahin (R) have the sort of fun teams can during a thumping of a rival. Reus scored once and teammate Robert Lewandowski claimed a hat trick as Dortmund romped past Stuttgart 6-1 on Friday.
Heaven sent for Braunschweig
Dominick Kumbela's goal for Eintracht Braunschweig was enough to clinch a crucial three points for his side against Bayer Leverkusen. The upset loss for Leverkusen might have had something to do with coach Sam Hyypia's decision to rest several key men.
Comeback kids do it again
Bayern Munich forward Thomas Müller scores as Hoffenheim's Sebastian Rudy (middle) and Koen Casteels (right) watch on. Hoffenheim took the lead against the title holders but could not hold on, with Bayern going on to win 2-1. It is the second-straight match Müller's team have come from behind to win.
Problems persist for Nuremberg
Nuremberg defender Emanuel Pogatezt appeals for a penalty in his side's disappointing loss to Freiburg on Saturday. His frustration summed up the day for second-from-bottom Nuremberg in new coach Gert Verbeek's home debut, with Freiburg - and goalkeeper Oliver Baumann - back in form.
Hertha bite the dust
Hertha Berlin pushed Bayern Munich hard last week away from home, but struggled with the visit of Schalke on Saturday, losing 2-0. Julian Draxler, (right, pictured with Hertha's Hajime Hosogai), rounded out the scoring with a well-struck extra-time goal.
Double delight for Kruse
Max Kruse's superb season continued as his Borussia Mönchengladbach side defeated Hamburg 2-0 on Saturday. The forward (middle) scored both goals in the win, taking his season tally to seven.
Frankfurt fall to Wolfsburg raid
Alex Meier sends his free-kick home for Frankfurt on Saturday despite the best efforts of Wolfsburg's wall, but his team was to fall 2-1 at home. Wolfsburg went in front inside two minutes, with Maximilian Arnold getting the vital second goal.
The eyes have it for Augsburg
Andre Hahn takes a rare moment of rest during Augsburg's 2-1 win over Mainz on Sunday. His double did the job for his side, handing them three valuable points in their battle to beat the drop at season's end.
Bremen's late show steals points
A late goal from Santiago Garcia (middle) settled Sunday's northern derby in favor of Werder Bremen, despite conceding first to Hannover. Bremen snapped a poor run of form with the victory, while the loss continued that of Hannover.
