Anthropic's Mythos, Fable blocked after US bans foreign use

Anthropic introduced Fable 5 after calling its original AI model, Mythos 5, "too dangerous" for ordinary customers. Now, both versions have been cut off following the Trump administration's ban on access for non-US citizens.

This is the second time that the San Francisco-based firm has clashed with the US government over the use of the technology, after the company criticized its deployment during the Iran war.
