The pandemic has seen a rise in the number of unwanted teenage pregnancies. Authorities in Kenya for instance have been registering thousands of additional cases of pregnant underage girls. They don't have access to birth control and sex education is virtually unheard of in school. In many cases they were sexually abused – often by people they know.
