UK wind farms compete with bogs

In Scotland, great swathes of peatland habitat are being used to build wind farms. Yet peatlands are a natural sink for carbon dioxide, and when they dry, they release it. Are some of the UK's wind farms counterproductive? The Carbon Payback Calculator hopes to deliver the answer.
