Trump 'disappointed' with NATO over refusal to join Iran war

Donald Trump is again threatening to pull the United States out of NATO, calling European allies "cowards" for their refusal to support the joint US-Israeli war against Iran.

As the Iran war nears the one-month mark, European NATO allies are distancing themselves from the joint US-Israeli operation that has sent crude oil prices soaring and put pressure on economies worldwide.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has assured the public that he won't allow the UK to be drawn into the conflict. French President Emmanuel Macron has contrasted Europe's predictability with the US's unilateral decision to attack Iran.

US President Donald Trump has reiterated threats to pull the United States from NATO for not supporting Washington. But a 2023 law passed by the Biden administration may prove a stumbling block.
