Conservatives Ben Bradley and Maria Caulfield have quit their posts in protest to Prime Minister May's latest Brexit compromise. The resignations come on the heels of Boris Johnson and David Davis quitting.
UK premier Theresa May is reported to have told her Cabinet that a change to her Brexit plan was not possible, after consulting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The two leaders have met twice in the past week.
Prime Minister Theresa May has united her Cabinet around a Brexit proposal that would see Britain keep some benefits of EU membership outside of the bloc. Whether the EU is prepared to agree with the proposal is unclear.
Companies across Germany are getting more nervous and not just sitting idle waiting for Brexit, but are already preparing by looking for individual solutions and expensive work-arounds.
