'Chinese Tesla' aims to reinvent itself

Made in China, designed in Germany — NIO, a multibillion-dollar Chinese company is dubbed by many as an answer to Tesla, the American e-car manufacturer. Like Tesla, NIO also started off with great ambition, but it's now in hot water.
