It's the first time that a Taliban delegation has arrived in Europe since regaining control of Afghanistan over five months ago. But the visit to Norway has angered some.

The face of a woman was considered a source of corruption for men not related to them. Afghanistan: Women TV presenters cover faces one day after defying edict 22.05.2022

The Taliban has made face veils mandatory for all Afghan women appearing in public, including those on television. This edict was ignored by presenters on Saturday, but they relented a day later.

Taliban orders female TV presenters to cover face on air 19.05.2022

The Taliban authorities in Afghanistan have issued an official order that female journalists must cover their faces on television. The move comes days after authorities ordered women to cover their faces in public.
