Two German teams making history

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund are set to face off in the first ever all-German Champions League final, the world's most prestigious competition in club football.

For years Spanish football teams have been recognized as the best in the world.

But the magic is threatening to dissipate, with the recent defeats of Real Madrid and Barcelona at the hands of Germany's top two Bundesliga teams.

Bayern and Dortmund in their current form can hardly be beaten - just like the Spanish sides were almost unbeatable in the past.

There are clear signs that the times are changing in European club football.

And some pundits even go a step further and predict that the German national team is now ready to take the crown from Spain, the current holder of the World Cup and the European Championship titles.
