An Algerian architecture instructor plans an energy-efficient research laboratory, to be built in cooperation with the Berlin Technical University; an architecture professor from Stuttgart experiments with traditional clay-brick construction in Morocco; architects from Frankfurt direct one of Libya's biggest urban construction projects - three examples of a fruitful cooperation between northern Africa and Germany. All three projects fuse northern African building traditions with modern architecture.
