Living Planet: Goodbye Mumbai

Mumbai is one of the few metropolises in the world to boast urban flamingos. Every winter, these pink-feathered birds fly to mudflats on the southeastern shore of the city, and stay on through spring, after which they head back to their breeding grounds in the west. But a planned bridge is poised to cut through their habitat.
