Inside Europe: Jumping the fence in North Africa

The Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla are situated on the North African coast bordering Morocco. As the only land border between Africa and Europe, they draw thousands of Sub-Saharan migrants each year who attempt to reach the cities either by getting over the border fences, or around them by sea. Morocco tightly controls that frontier but sometimes migrants get through. Guy Hedgecoe reports.
