Bulgaria: The little singer with the big voice

Katya Mincheva is just 110 cm (3 feet, 6 inches) tall, but she has never let this get in the way of leading a full, joyful and busy life. 

Mincheva is a self-taught singer who performs traditional Bulgarian songs. She is also head, neck and heels involved in her local community, helping out wherever she can and taking part in all aspects of community life.

DW travelled to the Rhodope Mountains in southern Bulgaria to meet a little singer with a big voice — and a big heart.
