Icehotel, Jukkasjärvi in Sweden
Bedded on ice, in the small village of Jukkasjärvi, some 200 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle, the Icehotel welcomes guests. For 25 years, the building material has come from the nearbyTorne River. Every year artists redesign the suites. In April everything melts away. It couldn't be more sustainable. For Time Magazine, the Icehotel was one of the most beautiful places in the world in 2018.
