Mohammad Al Krad, a 12 time national wrestling champion, was a hero back home in his native Syria. But when the Civil War erupted, he joined the ranks of the nearly 5 million Syrians who fled their country. After living in a Jordanian refugee camp for four years, he was recently resettled in Ottawa, Canada where the local wrestling club have been more than happy to roll out the welcome mat.
