World in Progress: Fixing Rome's potholes

An estimated 80 percent of streets in Rome are damaged, meaning that people living there are likely to come across a pothole about every 15 meters (about 50 feet). It's a nightmare for drivers on the Italian capital's busy roads. Which is why some citizens have decided to take matters into their own hands and rescue their city from these dreaded potholes.
