Syrian anti-Assad rebels sweep into Aleppo

Largely Islamist rebel fighters have taken over most of Syria's second-biggest city Aleppo. The Syrian army concedes it has lost control of large parts of Aleppo, which it had held for eight years — and is vowing to retake them.
