To what extent will Pakistan's constitutional changes reshape the military and judicial systems? DW talks to an expert along with parliamentarians who defend and oppose the amendment.

Under Pakistan's 27th Constitutional Amendment, army chief Asim Munir, who was promoted to field marshal after the May conflict with India, will keep his title for life and have lifelong legal immunity. Pakistan's judicial system will also see sweeping changes, with a new court established above the current Supreme Court.
