The village of Castelserás in northeastern Spain has just 830 residents -- but it also has the country’s largest number of online shops per capita.
It all began 18 years ago, when Ricardo Lop started an online shop that sold knives and swords. Now, Lop sells his merchandise all over the world -- and he's launched a boom in online shops in his home village of Castelserás. Local residents sell everything from computer accessories to baked goods on the Net. Young people think it’s a great idea -- and many of them plan to stay in the village and work online, instead of leaving for the big city.
