Deadly unrest has erupted across Mexico after the arrest and killing of cartel leader El Mencho, raising fears ahead of June's World Cup matches in nearby Guadalajara. Locals and tourists report lockdowns, chaotic airport scenes and arson attacks, with many businesses closed. While residents worry visitors will stay away, security experts say his removal could ultimately improve safety if authorities contain the cartel's violent backlash.
