Extinction crisis: 'The window of opportunity is closing'

Human activities are wiping out millions of species, and this ongoing mass extinction is only speeding up. Renowned ecologist Gerardo Ceballos says we have 15 years to protect habitats and stop the illegal trade in animals — and that by protecting biodiversity, we protect ourselves, for example against pandemics.
