Inside Europe: Rome's rubbish crisis

The Italian capital is inundated with garbage. Of the 3,000 tons produced by the city's residents every day, about 600 tons remain on the streets. That stinks. Literally. Some pavements are simply impassable because they're blocked by mountains of rubbish. The current heatwave in Europe has made things worse and doctors are worried about public health. Angelo Van Schaik reports from Rome.
