Former Cologne midfielder Wolfgang Overath played in the very first Bundesliga season and was a member of the 1963-64 title-winning team. All told he spent fourteen years as a player at Cologne and also won a World Cup with Germany. We talk to Overath about what it was like when footballers suddenly became professionals.
