Benjamin is half English, half German. He joined DW in 2015 and mainly covers travel, German politics, and international relations. He holds an MA in political science and a diploma from Berlin's Independent Journalism School (FJS). Benjamin completed DW's multimedia journalism traineeship in 2022.
