Father Nikodemus Schnabel is a German Benedictine monk who lives and works in Jerusalem. In the 15 years he’s been there, he’s witnessed clashes between Israelis and Palestinians and the results of repeated failed attempts at peace. His monastery has also been the target of attacks. His faith has been challenged frequently but he’s never given up on his mission.
