When she was just 14, Piera Aiello was forced to marry the son of a mafia boss. In 1991 she witnessed her husband's murder and was had to enter the witness protection program. Nearly 30 years later, she ran for office anonymously due to ongoing mafia threats. But she still won her seat in parliament. DW's Angelo van Schaik caught up with Piera Aiello at the Italian parliament in Rome.
