Preserving Palestinian seeds for posterity

A new national seed library has opened in the West Bank, in an attempt to collect Palestinian heirloom seeds and preserve them for posterity. Palestinian botanist Vivien Sansour is behind the bid to prevent these seeds from disappearing from local fields, one of the world's most heavily contested plots of land.
