World in Progress: Mt. Hermon - a political ski resort

The Mt. Hermon ski resort is situated in the Israeli-occupied portion of the Golan Heights. On the slopes, armed Israeli soldiers in white camouflage suits mingle with skiers enjoying their holidays. But many people from the local Muslim Druze community call feel culturally Syrian and still hope for a day when the Golan Heights will again become a part of Syria.
