World in Progress: China's battle against the coronavirus

The novel coronavirus has claimed over 1.6 million lives and more than 73 million cases have been registered so far. COVID-19 was first documented in the Chinese city of Wuhan about a year ago. In China, workers have returned to factories and offices, students are back in the classroom and people are even hitting the dance floor in Shanghai.
