Ukraine: A nurse between family and the front

A Ukrainian family returns to Kyiv, only to be torn apart by war: father Ruslan is killed at the front, and mother Ulyana begins working as a surgical paramedic in the combat zone while the grandmother cares for the children. Six‑year‑old Alina struggles with separation and daily danger. Now Ulyana is back in Kyiv for the first time — unsure if she will return to the front.
