Increasingly, architects are experimenting with designs for ever-taller buildings - and even cities. Two Swiss architects - Fabio Gramzio and Matthias Kohler - envision a 600-meter-high tower
It will be made up of 1,500 building blocks, containing apartments, offices and restaurants. There's even room for sports facilities and recreation areas in the vertical, space-saving city, which is intended to house 30,000 residents. The architects hope to build their visionary design outside of Paris.
