The paramedics at the Workers' Samaritan Federation in Offenbach have all experienced some form of violence while on duty in recent years. Insults are commonplace. They’re often spat at, hit or even threatened with knives. It’s a complicated situation. They can’t defend themselves and if they leave, they could be accused of failing to provide assistance.
