Amphibian numbers around the world are dwindling. More than 150 species are believed to have gone extinct in the last 20 years. In Germany, the common toad is in trouble. One of the biggest threats it faces is traffic. For Save the Frog Day (29.09.2017), DW pays a visit to dedicated volunteers helping their froggy friends to survive and multiply - by getting them safely across the road.
