Cara Augustenborg is the Chair of Friends of the Earth in Ireland and a leading activist in the Climate Reality project run by former US vice president Al Gore. In 2008, she visited Arctic Alaska with six other young Europeans from the Climate Change College. What she saw strengthened her motivation to combat climate change.
