Thousands of Eurovision fans are expected in Lisbon for the 63rd edition of the song contest. The Portuguese capital is gearing up to welcome them all.
Despite calls for boycotts, Israel's cultural center has been chosen to host next year's song contest. Tel Aviv was picked over the contested city of Jerusalem, which both Israelis and Palestinians claim as a capital.

The results of the second semifinal of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest are in. Eight countries have been eliminated from the fray, with the remaining ten going through to the final on Saturday.
