Kim Kardashian robbed at gunpoint in Paris

US television personality Kim Kardashian has been held at gunpoint by armed masked men dressed as police officers. Her husband, rapper Kanye West, left his set early in New York, citing a "family emergency."

According to Paris police, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint at a luxury Paris residence at around 3 a.m. local time (0100UTC) on Monday. The 35-year-old was tied up and locked in the bathroom.

The five attackers were reportedly wearing ski masks and jackets with police signs. A jewelry box, containing five to six million euros worth of jewels, and a ring worth around four million euros were stolen in the incident.

Kardashian's spokesperson Ina Treciokas said the reality TV star and selfie aficionada was "badly shaken but physically unharmed."

It wasn't immediately clear whether her two children, 3-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint, were also in the hotel room.
